Paramedic
You can become a nationally certified paramedic in only ten months through our partnership.
Paramedic Training
Texas EMS Academy has partnered with School of EMS to now offer a pathway to a paramedic education for our students. A paramedic is a highly trained and
skilled medical professional who is educated to carry out many of the same duties as a physician. Paramedics can examine, evaluate and treat patients with equipment and medications usually only found in the emergency department of a hospital.
Paramedics are typically utilized as emergency care practitioners on ambulances or on first response emergency vehicles. Paramedics are in extremely high demand throughout the United States. (See the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics)
10 Months
This is a hybrid Live/Online course that lasts 44 weeks (10 months).
Applicants must be a current EMT prior to admission to the paramedic program.
The paramedic program is accredited by CAAHEP (CoAEMSP program 600463). All qualified School of EMS graduates are eligible to attempt the National Registry Exam.

Please contact School of EMS for up-to-date pricing.
Your account must be paid in full before the start of class.
Students who are not sponsored by an organization and cannot pay their tuition in full will be asked to apply for the third-party financing option first. If an applicant is either denied funding or does not accept the terms of the approval, qualified applicants may request an internal payment plan option.
Students who are approved for a payment plan will be asked to pay a 15% down payment and the remaining payments will be spread out over the length of the program. Students will need to provide a valid credit or debit card for recurring payments. Please reference our institutional catalog for more details.
Qualified applicants may be provided this option during their advising meeting.
